I love tall people! Wasn't Manute Bol closer to 7'6? I also read an article stating that some players get measured in shoes and others are measured bare feet.

I know almost nothing about sports. When Shaq wasn't on this list I knew I was in trouble. I only got 1.. and after the answers were revealed I saw that I've only even heard of 2.

Great quiz. I got most that I had heard of, forgot Sabonis even though I loved watching him!

Would have been helpful to have the team(s) that they played for!

I tried "asdfnboaujakdkskkkshdf" for Ilgauskas. I think this should count.

I kept trying to put all the H's in Muresan's last name. I knew he had a few of 'em.

Can't believe I missed Breuer. He played for the Bucks when I was a kid in Milwaukee. Seemed like a nice enough guy but I could never understand why he'd miss a layup (or for that matter why he didn't dunk everything when he knew he missed layups at times).

The third one is Senegalese, not Cameroonian, while the Montenegrin player is 229 cm, or 7'6'' tall.

Not a great success rate overall. Only about half spent more than a few years in the league. I wonder if height actually becomes a liability at some point - i.e. guys with more well-balanced physiques have better leverage and quickness. Or joint problems/injuries just take over.

Totally right. For what I know, Sabonis had everything to become a legend of the game but his ankle and knee issues due to his height put him to an only average player in the NBA.

Nowadays, if Wemby doesn't meet health problems, that's probably the only one that would be the exception in this list, and become an all time great.

Sabonis also didn't get to join the league until he was 31 because of the entire cold war thing. If he had been able to play at age 18 like current Euros he would be considered one of the 20 best players in the history of the game.

Manute Bol : Born in 1962 in Turalei, which was in Sudan in 1962, was Sudan during his career (1985–1994), but currently South Sudan since independence in 2011.He acquired US citizenship in 2006 and died in 2010 one year before South Sudan became independent.

Bol Bol : Born in 1999 in Khartoum, capital of Sudan. He became South Sudanese in 2011 with independence. He also has US citizenship but not sure when he acquired it.

With all of that, good luck to quiz master to target correct flags & countries :)
