As an American who's good at geography, this was actually pretty difficult. I feel like the full minute might be better, especially for those not from the States.

When I first opened the quiz, I immediately started typing capitals thinking it was free game, but then the yellow box happened. Maybe a caveat?

Good idea of course.

I wanted this to be a very difficult challenge but still in the realm of possibility.

After a couple tries, I was able to do it on with 3 seconds remaining so it definitely is possible.

It's not too hard at all. On mobile it certainly is a bit tough, I only managed to get 41 there on my first attempt. Switching to my computer though on my first attempt I managed to finish with 6 seconds left.

I think it depends on the person (whether they're American, how familiar they are with US geography, how good their reflexes are, etc).

I only managed to get 22/50 with five tries.

22 seems pretty good. I'd imagine that only 0.1% of people in the US could get a perfect score within 5 tries.

I also assume that most people couldn't get a perfect score even if they had 1000 tries.

This quiz is meant to be extremely challenging. It's not for everyone.

Got them all with eleven seconds remaining on my second try. Sub-thirty is definitely possible.

no need for whammies with such a short time period. the whammies are frustrating for typos

Maybe as a video game it would be fun

Whammies could cause exploding flora full of hornets

I got four lmao (tbf I lost the first whammy because I started speed typing letters without realizing it is a yellow-box type of quiz)

Needs to be more time on this, kind of pointless to have a quiz that you realistically can't complete in the allotted amount of time.

It's possible (as can be seen in previous comments), just unlikely. This quiz is meant to be difficult.

Pride really is a motivator. After three attempts the best I got was 39 and thought there was no way I could possibly do this. After reading the comments of people managing to do it, I got all 50 only two tries later

I kept forgetting Augusta was the capital of Maine and kept putting P (Portland) for Maine lol. I eventually got it.
