Floridian here -- do folks who don't live here not know that the peninsula is FAR more populous than the panhandle?

Three of the state's four major urban areas (Miami, Tampa, Orlando) are all in the southern half.

Forgot that it shares a large metro area with Pennsylvania and New Jersey and went with south because it becomes narrower as you go north.
