Ha, I thought I was getting really, really lucky with the years and then noticed we have a massive leeway of five years on either side.

Also, not to flex or anything [;)] but I got 100% on this quiz and also never needed the 5-year leeway on any of them.

1 minute used, no whammies

Only seven of them I didn't nail spot on, and most were out by just one year. the biggest difference I had was three years (once). Actuall only two, but the result wouldn't show up, and there was no whammie either. So I tried the next year, but in the wrong direction.

22/22, no whammies, took about 2min

5 years seems generous. Basically if you know the decade you can pretty much just guess 1975 1985 1995 2005 2015. I could consider dropping it to 3 years.

Somehow didn't make any mistakes. Bad on films but good on years.

Used up four whammies, but got 5/5.

It was just too easy with a 5-year tolerance.

About half of the movies, I knew the exact year, a quarter where I was 1-3 years off and the rest were either lucky or several guesses.

Fun fact: All the movies that came out in the 90s, I watched in a cinema, but none of the ones older or newer than that. (Although I have been plenty of times in the cinema in this century, too, just not for any of these movies. I watched a remastered Star Wars in the late 90s in the cinema though.)

Happy to give it 5 stars but FYI, I would type in the wrong date and I still would get credit.
