A quiz will often not accept a correct answer on the first go, but accept it on the next attempt (or after an intervening answer). It’s just one of this site’s lovable quirks especially when using a tablet.

Tiresome sometimes but it only really irritates when up ‘against the clock’ like this quiz.

Save this type of quiz (reliant on fast typing) for when using a proper keyboard.

Never ever had that ( or heard anyone else about it) you must have just made typo's and get it right the 2nd time. And on tablet it is just easier to make more typo's.

I don't know how these scrambled letters render on other people's machines, but on mine 'r' and 'n' together look like an 'm'. So I had every one except for a mystery country composed of the letters 'mwayo'. The newly democratic republic of Mowya.

I did something similar - couldn't work out why it wasn't giving me 'montonegro'. Don't think I've ever made that mistake before, I think the tight time limit got me nervous!

As other people have said I think the time is too short, perhaps add another 30 seconds or a minute on.

Also maybe put the first letter of the unscrambled country in capital, for example

napis would be napiS because it is Spain
