Strange. You'd think that the language spoken in Mozambique would be french, not portuguese.

Because Mozambique sounds French because of the -ique at the end. I used to think the same until I found out (through a Jetpunk quiz) that Mozambique used to be a Portuguese colony.

it’s spelled equatorial and yes they speak many languages but portuguese is one of them
