Countries that are N, S, E, and W of Another Country

Name the countries that are further north, south, east, AND west of another country. Basically, draw a box around every country with its northernmost, southernmost, easternmost, and westernmost points as the sides. The countries whose boxes are entirely inside another country's box are the clues. Guess which country surrounds them.
If more than one country surrounds the clue, name either one.
Does not include overseas territories and French overseas departments. Otherwise, things would get crazy.

A lot of the Russia ones are because of Kaliningrad.

Great! I think you should put | instead of comma. Then it will accept JetPunk Type-ins too (like KSA etc.) (for example: Spain | France)

maybe I didn't understand the directions - I got all except Bulgaria, Romania and Kosovo because the box I drew around them contained many countries - none of which was Russia. The box I drew around Bulgaria contained Turkey and Romania among others.

It's not that they surround Russia, but that Russia surrounds them. (Don't forget about Kaliningrad!)

The quiz isn't to guess the countries that are surrounded, but the countries that surround. (The countries that are N, S, E, and W of another country.) You shouldn't find an entire country inside the boxes you drew around Romania, Bulgaria, and Kosovo; they don't surround any countries. Draw a box around Russia and you'll find lots of countries in it!

intriguing idea but even after taking the quiz I still don't think I understand what you are looking for??? I got all correct but the three lowest clues so clearly I could answer correctly without even knowing what I was going for which seems to be a problem with the basic set up of the quiz. I wonder if more clear directions would help me. or maybe I am just to dense this morning!!
