The google maps map is very misleading there, I had to check for myself! But if you take the "street" view and look towards the Russian border, you can see one border marker near the other end of the island. And if you check the maps of the national landsurvey authority in Finland, you can see the correct border placement (the Russian part is tiny).
So does JetPunk recognize the border between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia or not? Because I always thought you didn't, but if you're recognizing the island as shared, then shouldn't there be a border? There's a guy who used to drive across that causeway once a week who would've told us all about how the McDonald's on the KSA side closes at prayer times but the McDonald's on the Bahrain side doesn't. Takes you back, man....
Loved this quiz! But why aren't the errors pointed out in the comments taken on board? For example, Kataja definitely has more Swedish soil than Finnish.
Ah, I have a similar quiz, but you have to guess the name of the island as well: https://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/25526/islands-divided-between-several-countries
EDIT: Nevermind, the island had the same name as the country. Could you put a hint like “Island near Great Britain” so that quiz takers don’t have to guess what island it is?
Great quiz. The profile picture of the quiz is English Harbor on Antigua though, which isn't a divided island, so you might want to change it to St. Martin to get the true purpose right.
Also, you should probably add a caveat stating that lake islands & river islands are not considered. Otherwise, this list gets a bit messier.
Wikipedia article
Although this is a river island, perhaps as cta127 says, add a caveat to not include river and lake islands.

found two more in lake Ylä-Tyrjä
found another one called Tarassiinsaari
russia-finland border has a lot of split islands in lakes
EDIT: Nevermind, the island had the same name as the country. Could you put a hint like “Island near Great Britain” so that quiz takers don’t have to guess what island it is?
