Good catch - it's not. I was stuck there for quite a while. (Of course, I was also convinced that Jamaica was further west than the Bahamas too.)

The westernmost point of France is at Toloke, Futuna, Wallis and Futuna at 14°42′S 178°33′W . Wallis and Futuna is a proper part of France, sending delegates to the French Senate and National Assembly. You currently having a place in the Caribbean as its westernmost point.

Thanks. I think there are errors on the wikipedia page I took the answers from. At some point I will try to find a more reliable source.
