Capital Cities Transplanted to U.S.A.
Numerous world capitals have namesake cities, towns and villages in U.S.A. Based on the information about the U.S. locale, name them.
All international capitals are capitals of sovereign countries.
19 of the U.S. locales are cities. One (definitely not the smallest!) is legally a village.
Populations are taken from 2010 Census data.

Sorry, should be "sovereign countries". Will correct. Hope you enjoyed despite the error. #2 will include non-sovereign COUNTRIES!

There's a Cairo in Illinois too, and I'm pretty sure it's bigger than the one in Georgia

I was trying to use the most states I could with significant populations. And Cairo, Illinois had a population of just 2,831 in the 2010 Census.

Again, population just 2,026 in 2010 census. So went for larger, better-known city.

Pretty fun. Thought I'd nail it, got 10. Missed Monrovia, CA despite staying there last summer.
