"Normans" should be accepted as the nation of Robert Guiscard, and "cross" for the origin of the word crusade. The existing answers are way too specific.

Very easy to get the answers wrong on spelling. I guessed "Fatimid" instead of "Fatimids", "Sicily" instead of "The Southern Normans" (?) and "Alexios Komnenos" instead of "Alexius Comnenus". The last one especially is a bit irksome, as the greek-style spelling isn't recognized, but the latinized spelling is apparently correct.
