I managed to get all of them in my 2nd attempt, needed exactly all 10 minutes though and managed in my last second :) Danzig/Gdansk was a tricky one.

I’m glad the time limit works well, I quite enjoy how the Baltic coast seems so simple but actually has a bit of a challenge to it in reality.

Thanks for taking the quiz

This was fun. Has to the be the most perfectly timed and paced quiz on here. You feel you don't have enough time as you struggle through Africa, then you speed up through Europe, then a little last second panic on the Baltic coast but then you're home. A+++

I wanted the time limit to be generous enough to allow for some guessing in lesser known areas, but still short enough to make the quiz challenging. I’m glad to hear that it works well.

I’m glad you enjoyed!

Where is Macau?

I was under the impression Macau was an island while under Portuguese control, I was mistaken.

“Macau was once an island but gradually a connecting sandbar turned into a narrow isthmus. Land reclamation in the 17th century made Macau into a peninsula” - Wikipedia

I will fix this, thanks.

Qingdao was under Japanese rule too

Unfortunately in 1936, during the time frame of this quiz, the Chinese administered the area, this would change two years later in 1938 after a Japanese invasion.

Really fun quiz! I had a good laugh at all of the alternations... there were quite a few times where I thought, "Surely it's not xyz again?" and it was that country. The thumbnail is a bit of a cheat, but I suppose cheating is an issue of the user, less so the quizmaker.

I had to check a few times myself while previewing this quiz that some sections that were back and forth between only two countries were actually correct *cough* India.

I’m glad you enjoyed!

I had originally included a small parcel of territory known as the “Romanian Institute” in the Albanian city Sadandë. It was an internet misconception that the Albanian government had transferred sovereignty of this parcel to the Romanian state, however this appears not to have actually been the case. Thus, ultimately I removed this “exclave”.
