Really surprising that USA or Russia don't hold any claims.

I was surprised too, although the US used to hold claims until they and the then-USSR took part in the Antartic Treaty in 1959, which established Antarctica as an international condominium with complete freedom of scientific research by any country. Remember, these claims mean absolutely nothing.
