surprised not to see Ayers rock (Uluru) or the great barrier reef for Australia. I guess there's a lot to see there

I was surprised too. Other snubs include: Dome of the Rock in Israel, and on my other quiz, the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, the Stonehenge in the UK, and many US landmarks (Universal Studios, Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas Strip, Liberty Bell, National Mall, etc.).
