these are not necessarily the most populous cities in the region, otherwise most cities would be in Michigan and Ohio

Great Quiz! The Map is awesome, but you called Chicago a capital, which it is not, and Springfield OH wasn't accepted when I typed Springfield IL, also, what is the category for inclusion, population? I see a lot of bigger cities like Fort Wayne, South Bend, Aurora, Cinncinati and Youngstown not there.

I grew up in Iowa and haven't heard of most of these! How about Dubuque, Davenport, Ottumwa, Ames, Waterloo, Sioux City...

I have lived in very close proximity to Freeport, MN my entire life apparently and literally never heard of it until I just looked it up. Maybe a little too obscure, for that area on the map anybody who knows Minnesota probably guessed St. Cloud.

Probably one of the weirdest city quizzes I've seen on this site.

FYI, the map implies that St. Paul is west of Minneapolis. Actually, it's the reverse.

Lansing should be a bit southern

St Paul and Minneapolis are swapped

Why Joliet and not Aurora, IL ?
