Would like to disagree on Samoa. The O le Ao o le Malo (Head of State) is elected, and the constitution does not require him to be one of the paramount chiefs, that is only a custom. The position is not hereditary either. Therefore, Samoa is regarded as a parliamentary republic rather than a monarchy.
