You should specify that you include countries where the circle of latitude passes through water rather than just land, as most lists I have seen do not include Maldives or Kiribati as lying on the equator (it passes between islands and not over land). Also, please change the spelling and accepted type-ins to Jetpunk standards for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Republic of the Congo. I knew the equator passed through the DRC, but "DRC" was not accepted. If I hadn't already known this, I might have just moved on assuming I was wrong.
