Slight nitpick, these countries would be Nordic and not Scandivanian (as that would exclude Finland and Iceland). Also, the cells have a white background color which means in dark mode it looks kinda off.
Thanks! And fair point. Since the definition of Scandinavia is somewhat loose I went with it but in most cases it excludes Finland and Iceland as you say so Nordic is the better fit,
You are correct (as your name would suggest). I will add a note that it predates the most recent change. Not ideal but changing it doesn't seem feasible without a new map and reset of the stats. Apparently some of the changes have not been too popular either so who knows how long it lasts ;)
Also a bit generous calling the bit of the Atlantic off the coast of Norway the "Norwegian Sea"! If anything can be called a sea just because it's next to something else, what next? The Sea of Belgium? The Sea of Yorkshire? The Ocean of Brest?
To be more consistent, Snæfells, Mager and Dal should been accepted, like the others where you don't need to write out all names with glacier, island or river.
Nice quiz. Some names I almost got and wish had been accepted - but I get that they're wrong, it's just that the Nordic languages are hard to write as a foreigner :
Other than that, absolutely stunning :D
And it's Møllehøj, not Møllehoj.
Eyjafjallajökull - Eyafjallajokull
Skåne - Scania (which is the English name)
Snæfellsjökull - Snaefell
