Liechtenstein is not the capital of Liechtenstein. And what border would Nicosia be close to? It may be divided between the Greek and the Turkish part of the island, but Cyprus is still just one sovereign country.

The Liechtenstein is my mistake. My apologies. It should have been Vaduz, its capital city. I have corrected it accordingly.

As to Nicosia, it is technically a correct answer. Nicosia is near the borders of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, two overseas territories of the United Kingdom (therefore foreign territories) on the island of Cyprus.
