The surgical removal of the appendix
Appendectomy
A surgical procedure to remove blockage from carotid arteries, the arteries located in the neck that supply blood to the brain.
Carotid Endarterectomy
The surgery to remove the gallbladder.

During this surgery, a bypass is created by grafting a piece of a vein above and below the blocked area of a coronary artery, enabling blood to flow around the obstruction. Veins are usually taken from the leg, but arteries from the chest may also be used to create a bypass graft.

A surgery to remove internal or external hemorrhoids that are extensive or severe.

An inspection of the uterine cavity by endoscopy with access through the cervix.

A surgical operation in which a bone flap is temporarily removed from the skull to access the brain. The bone flap is NOT immediately put back into place.
Craniectomy
A procedure designed to restore or remodel the left ventricle to its normal, spherical shape and size in patients with akinetic segments of the heart, secondary to either dilated cardiomyopathy or post infarction left ventricular aneurysm.
Surgical Ventricular Restoration
A surgical procedure in which both palatine tonsils are fully removed from the back of the throat.
