Upon zooming in , there are various gaps between borders.

It looks cool to me though. But yeah, the darker border around Lhasa when zoomed in looks odd compared to me. For gaps, it's your personal preference, but I liked them!

Looks like you have the population of only the capital of Chamdo (and probably others). The population of Chamdo prefecture is 800,000 according to wiki.
