Cool idea. Tough though. I feel like it could use more time, but perhaps I'm just slow on the uptake.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It's hard for me to judge the difficulty since I made it, so I'll accept your judgement and add a minute.

The minute helped, thanks! I only got 5 answers the first time, but got 12 this time.

You don't have to start with the first two... It loops around so start wherever you like ;)

You can start anywhere, there's no yellow box. Start with the final (5) if you want. Its final letter is the first letter of the first (4) ;)

This is actually what saved me. There's a small number of four-letter countries, and the one I tried for the first clue worked elsewhere, so I worked backwards and forwards from there.

I’m surprised that Somalia is the second least guess.

Would be better to accept all alternatives that fit IMO. Once you know that the word starts and ends with A and is 9 letters long, there's no reason why Australia is a correct answer but Argentina isn't.

You're absolutely right. But I think accepting multiple answers isn't great either - better if I redo it with only unique length/letter countries.

Edit: I did that, changing Australia/Argentina to a 6-letter country which I'm pretty sure is the only A----A country there is.

I also changed the country before it - I think multiple-word countries are a bit easier, and the quiz was a bit tricky...

Thanks for the input, much appreciated.

you should atleast give a decent hint for the first one because you just have to keep typing 4 letter countries, and if you forget it then you can't do the quiz at all.

There are three four letter countries in the quiz though. You only have to remember one of them to have a place to start. Don't have to start at the first one. The two-word ones are a good place to start too.

It took me a little time to deduce what the (3,5) actually meant… when it clicked then I breezed through the quiz no problem. The 4 hints, multiple words, and chain part made it very approachable from the get-go. Thanks for the great quiz!

Oh great! I thought I was gonna get almost nothing until they started falling into place! Did not expect to finish all of them but I did!
