US States by Political Alignment

Based on the last 5 presidential elections (2008, 2012, 2016, 2020, and 2024), select the political alignment that describes each US state (and DC).
Any state which has not voted for the same party ALL 5 times is a "swing state" for the purposes of this quiz - remember that this includes 2008.
Using total number of votes cast, not electoral votes (especially for Maine and Nebraska).

To preempt comments - I know Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, and Florida are not typically considered swing states today, whereas Maine might be. Obama carried all of these states at least once, and the last time Maine voted for a Republican was 1988, so this quiz describes the more recent precedent.
