Uhm...aksually armenia is also generally included in most of the maps when you search the term "middle east" so Yerevan should be included or at least give a caveat saying middle east meaning only the "Arabian peninsula" or Islamic countries something like that.

The middle east is loosely defined so it does make answering this question tricky.

I wouldn't consider the Caucasus nations to be part of the ME personally, but wiki says it can be part of a Greater Middle East. On same basis you could be forgiven for thinking Libya is part of the ME too.

Tripoli is a city in Lebanon with a population of nearly 500,000, which surely counts as being in the Middle East.
