Nobody says flatted 5th, it's a flat 5 notated as b5

people definitely say flatted fifth, but flat 5 is more common. both should be accepted.

This is mostly jazzer jargon, with 3-4 basic music theory terms thrown in. And German chord - are you talking about at German Augmented 6th?

"Unison" is not an interval. An octave is the most consonant interval.

I believe a G would be 1/9 the frequency of an A

I believe you are correct. By my calculation, B is 9/16 of the frequency of A.
