It's remarkable that Paul McCartney is at least partially responsible for 46 different hit songs in a country that he isn't from. I don't know if we will ever see a band/artist with more popularity than the Beatles had.

McCartney had 20 U.S. hit songs after the Beatles, John Lennon had 6, Ringo Starr had 5, and George Harrison had 4.

If you combine every hit song that a Beatle made, you get a staggering 61 songs which is basically 1% of every song to ever hit the Year-End Billboard Hot 100, not even factoring in songs that made it in two years.
