Pacific Typhoons are tropical cyclones in the Pacific Ocean north of the Equator and west of the International Date Line. The JMA and other local agencies has their own scale for tropical cyclones, but the SSHWS is used here with data from the JTWC. Images of the storms are of peak intensity, or near it at category 5 status. Due to the poor quality satellite images of older typhoons as well as unreliable records, typhoons before 1979 are omitted. There are 130 typhoons on this list. Updated September 2025.
