Several of these (Cyprus, Azerbaijan, etc.) aren't normally considered Europe for the purposes of this site.

Turkey really should be accepted for Turkiye.

Good quiz otherwise!

great quiz. Appreciate the inclusion of the Caucasian coins. It keeps things interesting, and isn't unfair because anyone who's paying attention should get them from the script.

Sure, but include a caveat about how you're defining "Europe". Even the most liberal definitions don't include Cyprus. Definitions used for the boundary between Asia and Europe in different periods of history.

What is this nonsense? You accept the English version of every country but don't accept Turkey?

Please accept "Turkey" as an acceptable reply.

Also, some of these countries are not considered European by Jetpunk.

Another quiz that shouldn't be highlighted.

That's a very obscure British £2 coin: I've never seen that one before, it looks like a commemorative minting that was not widely distributed.

@Stoggler it's from the new designs introduced into circulation early 2024, all with natural world designs. So it's the current design, but like you I've not seen any in real life, maybe as use less cash than card these days.

Some beautiful designs here - I love the nature-themed ones in particular (Ireland, Finland, etc.) ^_^
