The quiz should work on every browsers now (including that #@!$ safari).

The consequence is that the map is now slightly smaller. Hopefully this won't spoil the experience.

Why luck? If you always start with Russia, USA, China or Canada the rest can be made without luck.

Clicking countries doesn't always work, and when it does the country turns red for wrong even when it's correct.

I'm having the same issue. Saudi Arabia is pretty hard to miss. I clicked right in the centre and nothing happened. Same with New Zealand. I tried clicking Kazakhstan. It showed me my cursor was right in the middle of Kazakhstan but said I got it wrong. Same with Finland and Algeria.

not OP, but also not working for me on safari on an ipad using an apple pencil. Will say I got it wrong when I’m right on top, and some countries taps don’t register.

I'm speaking from ignorance and laziness, but I was wondering: in order to avoid misclicking and consequent mistake, would it be possible to let the area of already guessed countries be an "error-free" zone, that is even if clicked it does not count?

I once got portugal wrong just because I misclicked and landedd on spain (which was green already).

Anyway, awesome quiz, would definitely deserve to be featured. Also, what's the 100 answer rule?

As the map is designed, I don't see a way to prevent the second click on a correct (green) answer from leading to an error.

This is a detail that also bothers me, but remains unresolved so far.

Regarding the 100-answer rule: a quiz with 100+ answers is no longer eligible for nominations and therefore can no longer be featured through this way.

I'm sorry, but I found this quiz quite frustrating. Either I'm completely wrong about where some countries are in Scandinavia, or the quiz isn't registering my clicks properly. For example, Sweden and Finland turned red even though I clicked near the center of the countries. The same happened with Portugal, Italy, and Belgium, and I couldn't even click on South Korea at all.

With Iceland, it took me about ten tries to get it right.

Also, would it be possible to add a zoom feature? For small countries like Luxembourg, I'm fairly sure I clicked correctly, but since it's such a small target, I might have been slightly off. I didn’t even try Liechtenstein because of this.

I think this quiz could be a lot of fun, but at the moment it's just a bit too frustrating.

My quiz is also not working. I'll click the dead center of the country and it'll be marked wrong. When I click on a country after the quiz ends, it thinks I'm clicking multiple countries away.

HOLY This quiz is amazing!! This type of "minefield" quiz was the one thing I thought the sporcle website had over this one in terms of interest for me. But that quiz gives you one chance and punishes you for being even a pixel off. Its ragebait vs. a VERY well designed quiz, well done!!

Here are some memory aids that I use:

Yemen & Oman: I think of Yo! - So first (west) Yemen then Oman

Guyana & Suriname: French Guyana and Guyana are not neighbors, so Suriname is in between.

Nicaragua & Honduras: Alphabetical order: North Honduras, South Nicaragua

Vanuatu & Tuvalu: Non-Alphabetical order: West Vanuatu - East Tuvalu

Zambia & Zimbabwe: long to short name: North Zambia - South Zimbabwe

St. Kitts, Antigua & Dominica: SAD

All 3 St. Islands from names : St. Lucia has 1 Island (shown), St. Kitts & Nevis 2 (shown) & St. Vincent and the Grenadines plural (islands not shown)

Barbados & Grenada: IDK tbh I always think of Barbados being not in the line of islands.

Tajikistan & Kyrgyzstan: K borders K - Kyrgyzstan borders Kazakhstan

Laos & Cambodia: C has Sea - Cambodia is the one with sea access

Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania: Alphabetically from north to south

These are some countries I sometimes struggle with. I have memorised the rest pretty well.
