An interesting idea for a quiz: thank you. Two suggestions though:

(i) I know it's not meant to be an exhaustive list, but there are a few more you can add - Fiji; Penang state in Malaysia; the county of Berkshire in England

(ii) As quite a few of the answers are quite obscure, perhaps it may be worth adding clues e.g. "Iberian city" for Madrid, "Pacific island" for Norfolk Island etc?

Should accept just "Norfolk"

No, all media specifies Norfolk Island as 'Norfolk Island' and never just Norfolk to prevent confusion with the English county of Norfolk. I would like to keep this in the quiz because the flag of Norfolk does not have a tree on it.

All featured quizzes accept Norfolk (e.g. here). Perhaps you could make the answer "{Norfolk} Island" so it will show as _____ Island, which would make Norfolk an accurate answer.

I agree, Norfolk has its own flag and it's not this one. Accepting "Norfolk" for Norfolk Island would be like accepting "Congo" for the DRC.

I enjoyed the quiz, thank you! When I saw the New England one, something inside me said New England, but I thought - don't be stupid, there can't be a flag of New England......
