Got halfway through from memory before I needed the flag, which is crazy after 20 years! I always thought he was saying 'Cuba, Caribbean' and 'Bangladesh, Asia' the way Americans always say 'Phoenix, Arizona' or 'Paris, France'

I think for Dahomey it would strictly speaking be more accurate to use the Republic of Dahomey flag which was the same as Benin's, but the elephant is more fun.

I mean… to be fair, by the time the song was written Dahomey had already changed their name.

Libya's flag was just green when this song was written, so updating the Libyan flag would be more accurate.
