I dont really think so. I believe its just basic regional bias. If your American, North American capitals are probably easier, if European the same happens and I think it just that we have very few people from Oceania here and that's what makes it hard but in reality its just 15 countries

I think you're at least partly right about that. However, Oceania and the Caribbean are likely objectively harder due to many small island countries. I personally find that seeing the country shape in addition to the location makes it easier to remember as opposed to only using the location. Geography and history are also more helpful if you got actual land borders and shared features such as mountain ranges or deserts crossing borders - or countries having dealt alot with each other throughout history.

I really reckon NZ should have adopted a silver fern flag when they had their referendum. It looks much better than their current one, which most of the world just thinks is Australia's.

Both NZ and Australia's flag show them exactly for what most people think they are: just British colonies.

Yes, I voted for the fern flag. But it was not to be. 56% voted to keep the old design.

Majuro is the atoll in which the capital of the Marshall Islands which is Delap-Uliga-Djarrit. Same for South Tarawa; Bairiki is the capital that is located on South Tarawa Atoll.

That's not true. Delap-Uliga-Djarrit is the most populated part of the district of Majuro, which encompasses the entire Majuro atoll. Likewise, Bairiki is a part of the district South Tarawa on the Tarawa atoll.
