the only points of three countries meeting that i knew off where norway/finland/sweden and netherlands/belgium/germany, both of which were not on this quiz.

If you divide any area into random(ish) smaller subsections you will always have lots of tripoints.

Quadrupoints (four countries meeting) is much more impressive and such a point doesn't exist. The closest is two tripoints 150 meters apart in southern Africa. There is a quadrupoint of US states though.
