The others of this type tend to include marginal seas and gulfs.

I would suggest either adding "not including the gulf of Thailand" to the description. Otherwise, include Thailand and Cambodia.

The countries in this quiz are exactly the countries listed by Wikipedia as bordering the South China Sea. That related quizzes assert, for example, that Egypt borders the Atlantic is a bug, not a feature.
