I disagree. There are several featured quizzes with just countries of the world with different style maps. I even spent two months on text editor and Gravit making Hand-Drawn Map of Europe, which is just countries of Europe without micro-nations (and has 11 nominations, so I'm sure it's not that bad...)
It is, obviously, all the maritime nations, plus 3 that are landlocked from open ocean, but it's interesting to see little pockets highlighted that you'd never associate with a country.
Does anyone know why Ireland has an EEZ exclave under Cornwall? I've looked everywhere including Google Maps, but can't seem to find any islands belonging to Ireland around there.
very nice map but isn't the quiz the same as 'all non-landlocked countries' basically? maybe you could use it for other quizzes on the same topic? eg 20 largest EEZ compared to country area?
kosovo isn’t a country under international law as they illegally broke away from serbia. next you’ll be recognising donetsk and luhansk as rightfully independent!
maybe have arrows to areas you cant actually see, like Jordan and Slovenia for example, Cameroon was also very tough to see, even with the zoom feature
SVG Error: There's a small bit of Spain that stays yellow. I think there might be a bit in Slovenia. Other than that, Great quiz!
Edit: I saw the pinned comment say you want to use it to enter the #QCCWaterQuiz. Make sure you have that in your title just because it says so. Idk if its still going or not tho lol
YES, THIS is what would really perfect this quiz! Making it random really slowed me down, so I was frustrated that I ran out of time. Ordering by area would let users swiftly get the easiest ones out of the way, so they can tackle the hard ones next (without having to waste time earlier to skip ones you can't find relatively quickly). Having the answers in an order would also allow users to navigate to other areas of the quiz by selecting the answer box to move the yellow box to.
You know what would make this cool, if you added the African GreatLakes. I think it would make you think a bit more rather than just naming every country with a coastline, but great quiz either way.
Great quiz, I've been looking for one of these. My only complaint is that there's a few inaccuracies with the map. Kosovo is missing, Yemen has a weird border with Saudi Arabia, and Walvis Bay (Namibia) appears to be a part of South Africa.
Fascinating but frustrating - spent so much time scrolling and zooming trying to find which area was highlighted (and then still failing and having waste even more time to scroll down to the table to skip to another one). A little more time please to give us phone users a chance, please?
Same as the guys above - I know every single answer, but find it impossible to complete in the allotted time. Perhaps it’s a mobile issue? I just can’t find the next question quickly enough, and if you do make a mistake or mistype you have even less chance. Great quiz though, really appreciate the effort you’ve made
I loved this and would nominate if there was a way to decrease the scrolling & searching on a smartphone screen? Maybe larger circles around the highlighted area?
There's quizzes that add a bigger arrow/circle to the current country in an overlay.
That would really help. Even the 'look here' arrows aren't visible at full scale on a 26" monitor. (Some of that is that jetpunk makes terrible use of screen real estate.)
And a few more "look here" arrows would probably be a good idea--djibouti and a few of the internal caribean islands, maybe also cameroon.
I like the idea. I understand how much work it was. Thank you.

(border-class and 'show missing ...' dots would make it even better)
I think it would be even better if, in the answer grid, you showed the area of each countries' EEZ, and listed them in that order.
However, as others have said it needs more time as a lot is spent in trying to see the area.
I will nominate
