Final Boss! Secret code: 14855668. Use the code to assemble the final question. From each question in the above section take the nth word. The 1st word from the 1st question. The 4th word from the 2nd question, etc.. Then answer the question you assembled!
Evil aliens have decided to kill everyone on Earth! Fortunately, they've given you two minutes to save as many as you can. All you have to do is name a country to save everyone in it.
I didn't know two of the rivers, but managed the rest of the answers. However, in the "Answer Stats", all appears green for me. I think, the two missing ones should be red, no?
Wow. I totally misunderstood the hint. I was confused when it said that the first word of the first question was "What" when it was clearly "For". Cycling through the four "questions", I came up with, "For this river is name section guess answer." I had no idea what to do with that information.
Apparently it was talking about the questions in the fourth section. D'oh!
Great quiz! The only thing that confused me was that both letters z were underlined which made me think the river answer needed two letters z. I don't see any other comment about that so I guess it's just me and my way of thinking that struggled with it :D
Great quiz! Good range of answers, challenging enough to make you think but still easily solvable unlike some of the other puzzles on this site. Nominated!
Really like how getting the final answer solves all the others - for the rivers one I got it after the first question (as there's not many famous rivers starting with Y) and I didn't have to go back and solve them
Reading too quickly (as can happen easily when taking these quizzes!) ... I did the same. And although I was through most of the questions at that point, it still kinda spoiled the fun and challenge of finishing all the questions. I blame JetPunk and its addictive nature - so much pressure! LOL
That was fun! The only tricky bit was deciding whether U.S. is one "word" or two in the final section - the choice you make means the final question contains "find" or "the". Tried it both ways, and got there OK.
Okay I had to spend 5 minutes figuring out how the code worked lmao, I didn't realize it was only referring to the questions directly above, I was looking all the way at the first set of questions and I was like "This doesn't make any sense 😭😭😭"
Same, I took the first question to mean the first question on the page, not the first question in the immediately preceding section of the quiz. That didn't lead to anything that made sense so I figured it out eventually, but it would be an improvement to add five words to the instructions: "From each question in the ABOVE LIST OF EIGHT QUESTIONS take the nth word.
Good quiz but I too guessed the wrong answer for 'What is the longest mountain range on Earth (on land)?' and was surprised to get a perfect score even though I still had other missing answers on the board.
Awesome quiz. I got the final question on each section as well as the final code.
I don't think completing the final code should fill in all of your missing answers though. I feel like a fraud because it tells me I got 33/33, but I missed 4 or 5 along the way.
As a New Yorker my first instinct for the Great Lakes was the Hudson, but I was confused because that requires the Erie Canal. Then I remembered there's also Canada lol. Never heard of the Murray though.
I was really struggling with the river part, then I just figured I'd try out a couple of mountains since it seemed like the logical next section - and that's how I got full score haha
Yeah, like a few people have said I was surprised that doing the final answer filled in everything. I was going to go back and try to figure out the ones I skipped.
the code had different numbers in it and you needed to associate them with the correct word (1 would be the first word, 2 would be the second word etc.) with the code, you were supposed to find the sentence “what is the highest mountain in the world" (everest)
So do we take the first letter or the first word from the prompt or the answer in which section? Still don't understand how we got "Everest" from "Beijing, Paris, etc."
It's the first word from the first question, i.e. what, and the fourth word from the second question, i.e. is, etc. You are taking the answer, not the question.
Apparently it was talking about the questions in the fourth section. D'oh!
I don't even know the logic between the last one.
Matter of fact, you might see a familiar quiz on this quiz of mine (I don't mean to self promote), you'll see it as soon as you click start ;)
The instructions need to be worded better
I don't think completing the final code should fill in all of your missing answers though. I feel like a fraud because it tells me I got 33/33, but I missed 4 or 5 along the way.

this was super fun. i love this.
thank you!
I don't know any rivers in Australia :(
Never heard of St Lawrence, and couldn't think of Murray (didn't help I was trying to think of something starting with a Y haha)
