There is no city of Clinton in Michigan. There is a small village, but I think this quiz is using data on Clinton Township, Macomb County, which is not a city in any sense of the word.

To add, the Clinton Township (not making any comment on its status as a city or not) is located just north of Detroit. The pin appears to be over the village of Clinton, which does not have 100,000 people.
