Nizhny-Novgorod, Kiev, Rostov-On-Don and Saint Petersburg all have bubbles that don't turn green when guessed correctly.

You're giving the entire population of Upper Silesia to Katowice. Katowice is only 280,000 people. It's the largest city in Upper Silesia, but Jetpunk does the same thing with Upper Silesia as you did with the Ruhr area.

I don't really get it. If we can accept including The Hague's population with Rotterdam's, then why is giving the entire population of Upper Silesia to Katowice considered unacceptable?

Oh do we accept it? I surely don't, for example. It's stupid, hurtful and simply not true

How did Katowice get on here?

How did Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Bristol and Southampton get on there? I lived in Sheffield for 25 years and its population locally was reckoned at half a million. These figures are fanciful.

Great quiz, I just don't understand how Padua got on this list... The entire province of Padua doesn't even get to 1 million people. I tried looking it up, couldn't really find anything to back it up, I even checked your source to see, still no. I could be wrong, could someone find a source?

To be honest, I was quite surprised to see Padua make the source's list as well. The source says that the urban area includes Mestre (the mainland part of Venice) and the roughly urban path of villages between them; here's a link to the source explicitly showing the borders where they define the urban area: https://citypopulation.de/en/italy/urbanareas/05__veneto/

In my opinion this source has always been dubious about what it defines as urban, so take it as you will, but official Jetpunk quizzes have almost always used it for figures regarding large cities.
