I wish I could have been alive for the 1980s – 2000s movie era. You can talk all day about selection bias, but there's no denying that period produced more culturally relevant, groundbreaking, and staying movies than now.
I think survivorship bias is giving you a rose tinted view of the 2000s, there were a boatload of rubbish movies in that era. White Chicks, Epic Movie and The Hottie and the Nottie immediately spring to mind but there are tons of examples.
I think in 20 years time people will be saying cinema is dead and they don't make films like Project Hail Mary or Parasite anymore, the 1 great film gets remembered whilst the 9 rubbish ones are quickly forgotten.
I didn't even think of Chronicle of Narnia since that is the entire series. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is the actual title of that movie/book.
Got 35 in under 3 minutes, another 3 before 5 minutes (or half of the time) were up. But the remaining two, I had no idea. Didn't watch, didn't even hear about them.
Not that there aren't good movies now, because there are.
But most of what Hollywood makes now is garbage.
Also, the Quizmaster has a wife?
