It was extremely difficult. I got none correct. Seeing the answers it makes me realize these are countries that haven't industrialized yet, are very deprived, and so the first time they get power it's renewable. A better quiz would look at the largest economies. I was expecting to see Denmark or NZ, which have more renewables as a percentage than USA or China.

It makes no sense to me, Uruguay should be first as literally 99% of their energy is renewable now

Unfortunately I believe the statistics for this quiz might be not so great or at least not up to date. They come from reliable sources but everyone (and every source) that I found seemed to have very differing metrics and results. I'll try to go through and find better data, thanks for the feedback!
