"Faciliter" should also work for ease,

"Désorienter" is an alternative translation to disorient,

"Diviser" and "couper" should work for divide, as well as "Dévaster" for devastate, and

"Refuser" also means to decline.

To lessen is a different meaning of "ease", though, eg "ease the pain".

To divide *up*, eg apportion different parts of a country's land to various owners, isn't quite the same as diviser (numbers) or couper (physical cutting), I don't think.
