OK, Myanmar removed. It seems they have a unit system of their own. One gets the impression they use the imperial system if one googles "imperial system units countries".

"roughly" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the D clue XD

The name "Descartes" is French, hence it's pronounced Deh-cahrt. I wasn't the first to notice this similarity, there's a lot of discussion if you look it up.
