First: you have "six o'clock, TV hour" in there twice, which I assume was not intentional?

Second: it's "light a candle, light a votive" (not "motive").

(I mean, I recognize that it's REM, so finding definitive lyrics can be problematic at the best of times, but here are four references corroborating my claim... ☺️)
