Finally acing the 200 biggest cities of the world quiz certainly helps with all the others. 15/15 .. the world one would be cool with a map, although it'd be a massive undertaking to make.

Try the one with every city that has a million or more. There's over 500 cities.

Interesting to hear Algiers was on the list in 2020, it misses out by quite a bit in 2025.

Maybe it would be interesting to see a quiz which looked at city populations every five to ten years or so, it sounds like populations of African cities fluctuates quite a lot quite quickly.

Got bailed out on Dar es Salaam. Knew it was Dar-something. Apparently that was good enough. :-)

It's an appropriately-allowed abbreviation. People there virtually always call it "Dar".

I don't think of it concise as I do this top 15 one. If I were to make anything of that it would be 30 largest, 45 largest, e.g. :)

I'm gonna be honest; I did way worse on this one compared to all of the other continents, which reminds me to touch up on my African, SE Asian, and Pakistani geography.

Never realized how spread out Ethiopia's population is. 2nd largest population in Africa but its largest city just barely makes the top 15.
