You say that France is a European country, but parts of it are in South and North America, so surely it should be included on your list? As should UK, Denmark and Netherlands.
French Guinea is a territory of France as Greenland is to Denmark. Even though they are part of their respective republics and realms, they largely have their own governing body. Furthermore, French Guinea and Greenland aren't recognized as a sovereign state by the UN, while their mother nations are. So both my points prove that they should NOT be included.
