Name all the countries in the world that are either inside the Arctic Circle, or can reach it by sailing due north and not hitting any other country on the way.
Surprisingly, New Zealand should be second on the Oceania list (14,642 km / 9098 mi). It only makes sense by looking on a globe, cos the shortest distance is actually from Stewart Island in the far south, going via Antarctica. (I ignore offshore uninhabited islands doing these numbers; if you want to include them, the distance reduces further to 14,102 km / 8763 mi at Campbell Island).
