the only way to get points is to get on the front page and to do that you need to get people playing it basically the more that paly the better chance it gets on board
Life is not always fair, I have 98 quizzes on Jetpunk and many are tricky and educational etc. and hardly anyone makes comments. Here we are with the most simple of quizzes and getting hundreds of comments......... what am I doing wrong.
Isn't the Panama Canal that divides North & South America? Why not the Caspian Sea, Volga, & the Ural Mts.? How about the river seen near Mt. Sinai? Africa, Europe, Asia, & the Americas are really separate. The Caspian Sea connects the river of Volga which goes east of St. Petersburg then goes to the White Sea.
So if we go by the definition of a continent being a large, continuous, discrete masses of land, ideally separated by expanses of water, there are only 3 continents: America, Afro-Eurasia and Oceania. America being North and South america combined. Antarctica is technically an archipelago covered in a giant sheet of semi-permanent ice. Africa, Europe and Asia are one landmass and then there's Oceania, the continent of misfit islands.
This quiz was really hard. Needs at least 20 minutes. I got 5/7 = 2 points because I always confuse Australia with Europe (it does compete in the Eurovision song contest, so...) Also I confused Asia with South America.
Oceania is mostly ocean - literally the opposite of a continent. Oceania is a region that is mostly made up of ocean, that includes the continent of Australia.
I can honestly say that this may be the most difficult quiz ever taken. It took me almost 15 seconds to do, and I had to use almost 20 neurons. I only got 100% as I had gone to Kindergarten when I was 5. I would only recommend this quiz to other people who had gotten at least a 70% in Kindergarten.
as=asia
ocean=oceania
europe=europe
I would think it'd be easier to go with some scientifically accepted definition rather than make up a definition then argue it black & blue.
To that point....are you going to update for Zealandia? (that'll trigger another pile of arguments)
Great quiz btw!
Idk why but always seeing that Europe and Asia are merged makes me feel likes Asia is much larger than that blue section xDDD
I missed Europe and Oceania
Plz make this easier by uniting Asia and Europe and COMBINING the Americas into one
