Answer for your sadness: If you're 17+, move to Massachussetts (i cant write its name), buy an Axolotl, study (maybe even biology) so you will understand your friend much more and bond with your 'lotl even more and live in happiness. Good. See ya!

This is why if I was randomly offered a job as a really high paid actress in Hollywood, I would decline, because I'd have to leave my axolotl, Arwen, behind.
