The layers get harder as you go along so layer 1 is very easy, layer 2 is medium, layer 3 is hard, and layer 4 is almost impossible.

There have been some huge changes to this quiz as of 3ʳᵈ July 2023

• 4 New flags have been added

• Corsica has been removed

• A few more type-ins have been accepted

It's good to see that you managed to get this quiz finished. I'm glad I was able to help you with it.

I like the idea of having different difficulty levels on each layer.

Unfortunately, I don't have the most extensive knowledge of former flags, but this quiz has helped me improve a little.

That is very kind of you to say. If you would like to meet more people from JetPunk, you could join the official JetPunk Discord server. It's much easier to communicate with people on Discord, and the server has specific channels for asking for help, suggesting ideas, and sharing your quizzes so more people see them.

It is an amazing quiz, but the flag of "Macedon" is just a flag used by the country called "North Macedonia". It isn't a flag of Macedonian Empire. Maybe change the name?

I mentioned it in the caveat and the fact that it has the vergina sun makes it recognisable as a Macedonian flag. I know Wikipedia isn't very reliable but https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_the_Macedonian_Empire.png

Indeed you are! I am as surprised as you because I thought that many knew the current Brittany flag which has the same symbol as the old one.

I think hesse should work for the last one since the Grand Duchy of Hesse used to also have that flag https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Duchy_of_Hesse

Proportions and colour aren't exactly the same though. It's close but not close enough to change it.

You area right, good quiz btw. Maybe a little pedantic, but I think the North German Confederation should also work for the flag of the German Empire.

Technically, that wasn't the flag of the CSA. It's a big technicality due to how synonymous it is with the Confederacy, but it wasn't official.

I know, I watched the CGP Gray video about it. It is globally recognised as the flag, but as you said it is not official.
