I created the SVG in Inkscape and used CSS to make the flags appear and the screen to fill. This guide is a good place to start if you want to start making SVG quizzes.

so hard - maybe one more minute? i know it's meant to be a race against time but it took me two just to figure out the concept, learn to spot the Xs etc

Six minutes should be enough. Though the average score is quite low, and I understand that it is an unusual quiz, so I will consider adding a minute to give people time to figure things out.

I don't know if this was only the case for me, but the Australia flag didn't appear for me after passing it multiple times. When the time was up, it was revealed exactly where my cursor was.

Love your creative quizzes! Just wanted to point that out in case that's a recurring bug for others as well.

Yeah but that defeats the purpose of the quiz actually.

*@SpiritOfFire* Also it is pretty easy to cheat on this quiz because you can just scroll to the correct place with the mouse.
